The M.R.V. Outdoor Education Centre is located in the village of Ban Thaton, Chiang Mai Province, Northern Thailand. Ban Thaton, although rather remote, is actually ideally suited for the purpose.

Welcome to the Maekok River Village (MRV) Outdoor Education Centre.
I hope that this will give you a good overview of what opportunities there are for students in this beautiful part of Thailand. However, having been a teacher for many years, I appreciate the problems and concerns when organising trips to 'unknown' venues.
I would urge you to make direct contact with me should you wish to discuss the various issues so important when running school trips. I would also urge you to read the testimonials from just a few of the schools who have visited, and to ask the teachers who have very kindly volunteered to act as referees, about their time here.
